Differences Between Planning Commission and NITI AYOG

10	Development Council  had approved Plans	Regional Council will  discuss the Plan
11	Many a times  had overruled State’s and Department’s  Plans	Priority will be given  for State preferences/demands
12	Had the power to sanction grants/funds	Now thee is only advisory power or role
13	Earlier plans were forced upon the States	Now there will be mutually agreed plans
14	Undue importance was given  for five year plans	Now there is rethinking on Five Year Plans
