CRD issued orders promoting 11 more Extension Officers to the cadre of Joint Block Development officers. Transfer and postings of joint BDOs were also issued.

Booth Level Officers-4 days Duty Leave sanctioned

Govt sanctioned 4 days duty leave for State Govt Employees and teachers acting as Booth Level Officers. National Electoral Roll Purification And Authentication Programme was launched by Election Commission Of India and done through Booth Level Officers. Leave was sanctioned in this context for the preparatory arrangements between 23/04/2015 and 05/05/2015.

IAY House permitted on Village Officer's Residence Certificate

IAY house can be sanctioned on the basis of residential certificate issued by Village Officer. If the beneficiary have no possession  certificate or property documents, house can be sanctioned on the ground that the family is residing in the plot for the last 8 years.

IAY Housing-Beneficiary Selection from SECC Data

Ministry Of Rural Development decided to allow the use of Socio Economic Caste Census data for beneficiary selection under Indira Awaas Yojana Housing Scheme. As per revised IAY guidelines 2013, the beneficiery selection should be done from the SECC data. Norms and weightage for various categories were also decided.

State Institute Of Rural Development published the result of examination conducted after pre service training of Village Extension Officers at Extension Training Centre Mannuthy.14th batch exam was conducted during April 2014 and 15 th  during December 2014.

6% DA Hike to Central Govt Employees

The Union Cabinet  gave its approval to release an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners with effect from 01.01.2015 at the rate of six percent increase over the existing rate of 107 percent. Hence, Central Government employees as well as pensioners are entitled for DA/DR at the rate of 113 percent of the basic pay with effect from 01.01.2015. The increase is in accordance with the accepted formula based on the recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission.

Mahathma Gandhi NREGS Wage rate Revised

Union Govt decided to enhance the wage rate given to unskilled workers of Mahathma Gandhi NREGS. As per the revision workers belongs to Kerala will get Rs 229 per day. Later it was Rs 212 per day.

Mahathma Gandhi NREGS-Asset Generation and Utilization of Material Component should be focussed

 LSGD issued circular describing the focus areas that should be given importance in the implementation of Mahathma Gandhi NREGS during 15 -16. Special focus should be given to asset generation works and works using material component. Convergence with other departmental programmes and skilling of workers were also insisted.
